Starting our Garden

I’ve started growing chives and sage a few weeks ago and I have to say it feels good to finally start a garden. My grandfather was a farmer and even though I’m just putting my toe in the pool, I feel a connection to him and to my childhood eating food that came from the hard work he put into his land. Because I started my wife has gotten motivated to start her own small garden and we’re already planning zucchini, carrots, and onions this year. Once we move out of our apartment and into a home I think we’ll have an easier time moving up to a larger scale if we can handle this small step now.

Shutter Island Review

Well I saw the preview for this movie months ago, and I knew the whole story after watching that 5 minute clip. I went to see the movie today just to confirm that I was right, I was even a bit hopeful they would throw in something I hadn’t thought of. But no, I was right, it was that predictable. I would recommend just watching the trailer and saving yourself the 2 hours of watching a story that was easy to figure out.
