For for those, who like me, have been watching BSG on SCI-FI Channel, we are about to see the start of the end of the show tonight. I have some complaints that I want to get off my chest because quite frankly I have been one of the biggest advocates for the show in my social circles, and now I’m a bit peeved at how they are handling the end. It’s not my call, but it is my time.

First lets talk about their choice of material for the last 2 shows (or one finally spread over two shows, or wtf ever they are doing). I think that having everyone go to rescue Hera doesn’t make much sense. If you’re an endangered species, the last thing you want to do is risk many lives for one child. It would seem to me that unless they had some motivation such as she had anti-bodies to a deadly virus, there’s not enough benefit to head down that path.

Second, I’m tired of being dicked around with needless cliffhangers and plot twists. End the f’n story already. I really would have LOVED to see them take the last 5 episodes and just tell a good ending, instead of trying to add more suspense to get me to watch. I’m already hooked, just finish it.

Third, the cylon song. Either give me a place to buy it, or stop playing it already.

Fourth, What is starbuck? Well I used to care but not so much anymore. It could turn out she’s Cap’n Crunch and I would really just feel justified in my belif that she’s a red herring.

Sixth and most important, because of all the jerking around I feel I’ve been put through, you won’t get another cent from me for merchandise. I have stopped buying DVD’s and I won’t pickup anything else because this ride was better in the beginning than it has been at the end. Thank you SCI-FI for screwing up something else that I once enjoyed.

I finally feel comfortable saying I’m in the best shape I’ve ever been in. While I still have some weight to lose I weighed in at under 200 lbs for the first time since high school.

Had a great 4 mile run this morning. Managed to do it in 35 minutes which is a new personal best.
